STAMPS

Commissioned by PTT (the Dutch national post service), I designed my first stamps in 1984: a series of four children’s stamps. The post service’s children’s stamps are issued every year. They cost more than regular stamps, the surcharge going to a foundation dedicated to children. In 1991 I designed the December stamps, a sheet of twenty stamps for sending Christmas and New Year’s wishes at a reduced rate. This was followed in 1997 by Tien voor een verjaardag, a sheet of ten birthday stamps, and the Scout stamps in 2007.
