TYPOGRAPHY

During my study I learned to write in medieval script. I also learned the principles of sans serif letters. This proved an asset when it came to designing typefaces and alphabets. I was inspired by the Russian constructivists and by Bauhaus. My French publisher and friend, Etienne Robial, and I share a fascination with handcrafted letters. Book titles, posters and house numbers are ideal opportunities for new letters and numbers. I recently drew a complete alphabet with The Less.
